This sixteen-song debut EP shows the promise that Emir Kusturica and The No Smoking Orchestra has. After seeing Unza Unza Time, I had to have a good Emir Kusturica and The No Smoking Orchestra cd. Emir Kusturica and The No Smoking Orchestra’s debut, ‘Unza Unza Time’, does not fit easily into one genre. I greatly enjoyed this CD.

Vocals of Emir Kusturica and The No Smoking Orchestra in Djindji Rindji Bubamara really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. Prnavor is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. Pitbull Terrier good vocals. Was Romeo Really A Jerk is the more seemingly obscure song on Unza Unza Time that bear up best to repeated listening. Emir Kusturica and The No Smoking Orchestra sings his heart out in Drang Nach Osten. Corfu is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. The song Upside Down ending is my favorite… so catchy! Sanela is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. Only one song from Unza Unza Time named Emir’s Dream really got me. Imao Sam Bjelog Konja stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. Some Other Man is a great opener for Unza Unza Time. Furja Djildje - a classic song.
