The Eels was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from The Eels and Daisies of the Galaxy together. This disc has all of the essential The Eels classics. I am not a real Indie music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Daisies of the Galaxy’ really is amazing. If you want to hear real Indie, get this record now!

The Eels rocks harder than ever with Packing The Blankets. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Sound Of Fear is my favorite song on Daisies of the Galaxy. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. Daisies Of The Galaxy is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. Flyswatter - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. It’s A Motherfucker is almost impossible to review. Estate Sales very upbeat. The Eels sings Tiger In My Tank in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Daisy Through Concrete (2:23) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. Jeannie’s Diary is the song that really did it for me. Wooden Nickels gives good insight into the truths. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. I like to sing along with Selective Memory, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Mr E’s Beautiful Blues is nothing short of a modern masterpiece.
