‘Holland’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. After seeing Intro, I had to have a good Radiohead cd. Since completing 2000’s ‘Intro’, Radiohead fulfilled their contract with Virgin Records and where under no obligation to release another album. This is what good Indie should be.
- I just love it.
This track is just a stunning masterpiece. It’s such an underrated song. Fake Plastic Trees is a gorgeous sing-along. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in Holland. Planet Telex is probably one of Radiohead’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. Opening track Lucky shows the best of Radiohead. In Limbo is a good listen every once in a while. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. Climbing Up the Walls great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.Exit Music (For a Film) is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Radiohead released so far. Paranoid Android - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. How to Disappear Completely is one of the more up-tempo songs on Holland. Idioteque - A nice song. Only one song from Holland named Everything in Its Right Place really got me. No Surprises marked the continuation of Radiohead in style evolution. This is probably my favorite song on the album. Karma Police as a highlight of Holland contains a ton of excellent melodies. First time I heard Egyptian Song was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing. One listen to the sheer beauty of Killer Cars was all I needed. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is My Iron Lung.
