John Digester has compared writing for Evergrey’s new album to that on ‘Solitude Dominance Tragedy’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. Since Evergrey last CD (Solitude Dominance Tragedy) on Mute Records back in 1999, I have felt a massive void in my life. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Evergrey’s album Solitude Dominance Tragedy falls to No. 2 with 435,000, a sales slide of 78%. Solitude Dominance Tragedy is preety good and all the songs have a good meaning behind them.
() Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs.
Evergrey sings Nosferatu in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Evergrey has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. Solitude Dominance Tragedy couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track A Scattered Me. The first time I listened to She Speaks To The Dead I was struck by its cool sound. When Darkness Falls - A classic Evergrey track. Words Mean Nothing - For me, this is the best of the album. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. I now have The Corey Curse as one of my personal favorites.
