Charon’s debut, ‘1999 - Tearstained’, does not fit easily into one genre. It has been eight years Charon’ last studio CD, “1999 - Tearstained” which won Array MTV Music Awards and was nominated for album of the year. Self-described as Metal: Gothic with lots of words, Charon comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. This is one of the best cd’s i have heard through the whole thing.
actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Charon’s face.
Sorrowbringer - Charon first major hit. 4 Seasons Rush (4:05) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! I have all of Charon’s tracks and Christina Bleeds is probably the most his introspective effort. I loved Deepest Scar the first time I heard it. The Drift is a marvelous song and it grows on you. After about the third Sin listen through, I began to believe this song is Charon’s essence. Holy is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. Your Christ is really a nice song to relax and listen too. As We Die - a classic song. The Stone is a very catchy tune.
