For older fans Global Underground 017 - London (disc 1) will put a massive smile accross your face. This is the first studio album from Danny Tenaglia since bad diagnosis in 2000. Since completing 2000’s ‘Next Evidence / Sands Of Time’, Danny Tenaglia fulfilled their contract with Mute Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is Men From The Nile / Watch Them Come
is a bit different from Danny Tenaglia stereotypical stuff.
In Men From The Nile / Watch Them Come the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. This track is a great song that still never gets old. The Ananda Project / Cascades Of Color - Check out that bassline! Katcha / Touched By God - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. When I listen to Atfc Presents Onephatdeeva / In And Out Of My Life in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. Minimal Funk Iv / Definition Of House presents the marvelous mix of instruments on Global Underground 017 - London (disc 1). |titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. In Da Boo / Spark That full palet of sound is used by Danny Tenaglia to accentuate the presentation. Nathan Hawks / Back To The Q - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Danny Tenaglia. Peace Division / Tribal Phunk is one of the more up-tempo songs on Global Underground 017 - London (disc 1). Blew our minds when we first heard Dietrich Schoenemann / 19 Bullets.
