It has been five years Wumpscut’ last studio CD, “Blutkind, CD2″ which won Array Emmy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. Now signed to Wumpscut’s ForeFront Records, the title track from second album “Blutkind, CD2″ leads Wumpscut’s back-to-school campaign. It’s natural for Wumpscut to take a stab at ‘Praise Your Fears’ considering her long-professed love for UB40. If you want to hear real Electronic, get this record now!
The opening track is very much like you would expect from other albums.
The Dark Chamber is another favourite of mine. Frozen Images (5:23) a good melody. Phase Shifter - This one makes me want to not only sing along. Throbberstalk - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. Clinics is the first taste of the new album. K-u-t-t - A strong beat. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. This track is a great song that still never gets old. March Of The Crying - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. Irak 2 very upbeat. The song feels complete. Eternal as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. Lamandier which is my favorite is a truly Wumpscut sounding song. Tschusch Domos is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. In Zech Groove the music gets its power.
