Groove Armada’s debut, ‘The Remixes’, does not fit easily into one genre. Since completing 2000’s ‘Pre 63 (Akasha’s Post Modern Mix)’, Groove Armada fulfilled their contract with Sparrow Records and where under no obligation to release another album. This song stands out greatly from the others. Chicago (DJ Dan & Terry Mullan Bongorella Dub) one of the best in my collection. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of Groove Armada. Rap (GA Alternative Mix) - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. Your Song (Tim “Love” Lee’s Semi-Bearded Remix) is beautiful, yet underrated track. I find myself hearing bits of A Private Interlude (Kinobe Remix) here and there throughout my waking hours. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing.
