Live” and “Skills to Pay the Bills” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. fifteen years ago, Beastie Boys briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Skills to Pay the Bills”. Simple and heartfelt closing track Skills to Pay the Bills closes The Sound Of Science (CD 1) on a high note. Country Mikes Theme one of the best in my collection. Boomin Granny is probably one of Beastie Boys’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. Body Movin’ - Fatboy Slim Remix is beautiful, yet underrated track. Alive - A catchy, upbeat tune.
