Amen’s debut, ‘We Have Come For Your Parents’, does not fit easily into one genre. While no new Amen album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 2000 tour in South America. We Have Come For Your Parents is an amazing album, racked with beauty.Such great and happy songs.

Mayday - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. I like the agression and power of Under The Robe. Dead On The Bible is the more seemingly obscure song on We Have Come For Your Parents that bear up best to repeated listening. Amen allows each song to breathe and flourish. Best song on the album, love it. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is The Waiting. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Take My Head because the melody in the chorus is so good. In Your Suit the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. Here’s The Poison is amazing work of Amen.
