There is no doubt that Midnight Oil has talent. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Midnight Oil’s album Redneck Wonderland falls to No. 2 with 752,000, a sales slide of 72%. There is so much to love about Midnight Oil, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Redneck Wonderland is not something you should pass up.
is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Redneck Wonderland have ended.
It’s a great pleasure to listen to Concrete from the beginning to the end. In Cemetery In My Mind full palet of sound is used by Midnight Oil to accentuate the presentation. Comfortable Place On The Couch is a very catchy tune. Safety Chain Blues is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Return To Sender, which shows, blatantly, how much Midnight Oil has evolved as a singer. Blot still maintains something of a specific flourish. The Great Gibber Plain is one of these floating songs. Seeing Is Believing - A classic Midnight Oil track. I like White Skin Black Heart because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. What Goes On make listening to Midnight Oil like being in some sort of time warp. Drop In The Ocean is perfect.
