Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Folkstorm on ‘Stoltz’. Since completing 2000’s ‘Stoltz’, Folkstorm fulfilled their contract with Capitol Records and where under no obligation to release another album. This disc has all of the essential Folkstorm classics. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
It’s such an underrated song.
So much energy, so exciting a sound.Feldgeschrei is exquisite and different song. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. Folkstorm offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. Propaganda has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. It took me a little time but I ended up loving We Are The Resistance. No Folkstorm song has come close to capturing my attention as Leben Ohne Dasein did. Funeral Force is a gorgeous sing-along. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it.
