This fifteen-song debut EP shows the promise that Mice Parade has. Now signed to Mice Parade’s Sparrow Records, the title track from second album “The True Meaning Of Boodleybaye” leads Mice Parade’s back-to-school campaign. This is one of the best Cd’s Mice Parade has dropped to date. It is very deep stuff - very exciting
Mice Parade sings in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved.
Dasher, Prancer, Donner and Bl is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. I loved Surprise! The Slippery Sled Went Down the first time I heard it. I was truly moved when I heard In The Water There Are Islands, In The Land T. My Workday In May catches attention immediately, Dub Interlude #1 (Boodley) is beautiful, yet underrated track. Tag is a good listen every once in a while. Headphoneland: The Gangster Chapter - This one is lively and fun. My Funny Friend Scott is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. Still going through The True Meaning Of Boodleybaye and coming to appreciate Trudging Through The Freshly Cut Grass more and more with every listen. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Purple Blather (High End Remix) is really a nice song to relax and listen too. I think Shalom is the best song Mice Parade has ever done. ?(It’s A Joke; It’s Supposed To Be Funny) has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Mice Parade’s strong vocals come to the fore.
