After seeing The Grand Celebration, I had to have a good Autumn Tears cd. Autumn Tears’s debut, ‘Winter and The Broken Angel (Love Poems For Dying Children, Act III)’, does not fit easily into one genre. Autumn Tears was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Autumn Tears and Winter and The Broken Angel (Love Poems For Dying Children, Act III) together. Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is The MirrorStone

The MirrorStone - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. After about the third The Never listen through, I began to believe this song is Autumn Tears’s essence. The Broken Doll - This is a very lively song. I find myself hearing bits of Winter’s Warning - Prologue here and there throughout my waking hours. If you are a Autumn Tears fan, you will love Winter’s Warning - Spring Requiem. Winter’s Warning - Summer Requiem is almost impossible to review. Winter’s Warning - Autumn Requiem gets you up and jumping. Winter’s Warning - Winter Requiem is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. This is probably my favorite song on the album. When I listen to The Passion and The Fury in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. The Widowtree still maintains something of a specific flourish. This track is just a stunning masterpiece. The Eyes Of Deception is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. Autumn Tears sings (untitled) in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved.
