Silvertears isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. On the Greece charts, superstar Evil’s Toy’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. Since completing 2000’s ‘Wired Connected’, Evil’s Toy fulfilled their contract with Savoy Records and where under no obligation to release another album. This album is in perfect progression from Evil’s Toy!
is one of the more up-tempo songs on Silvertears.
Virtual State had me crying as I was able to relate so well. Do Dreams Bleed is the more seemingly obscure song on Silvertears that bear up best to repeated listening. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. Style is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. Inside Out as a highlight of Silvertears contains a ton of marvelous melodies. Rainbow vs. Stars - This is a very lively song. Symphony Of Sympathy the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. In The Army Now is so unique, as each one of the songs is. Silvertears is one of these floating songs. Charming song, great melody. I hope to keep hearing Evil’s Toy works for a long time to come.
