Since B! Machine last CD (Opal) on Blue Note Records back in 2000, I have felt a massive void in my life. Self-described as Industrial with lots of words, B! Machine comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Opal is an amazing album, racked with beauty.Oh yes, this album gets Array out of Array
B! Machine has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving.
Purity is beautiful, yet underrated track. If you are a B! Machine fan, you will love Opal (Reactive Mix). Far From My Heart (Self Destru is one of the more up-tempo songs on Opal. Opal (Insomniac Mix) - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. Only one song from Opal named Sequel (Twilight) really got me. Opal (Original Version) is really a nice song to relax and listen too. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Blue (Alternate), which shows, blatantly, how much B! Machine has evolved as a singer. This track is clearly meant to showcase B! Machine’s vocal abilities. Purity (Refined) is probably one of B! Machine’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely.
