Jim Jones has compared writing for Giorgio Gaber’s new album to that on ‘Non Classificati, CD1′ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. Self-described as Rock with lots of words, Giorgio Gaber comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. I am not a real Rock music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Non Classificati, CD1′ really is amazing. Non Classificati, CD1 is the best essence of Giorgio Gaber.
I came to like .
Anche per oggi non si vola is a fine track on any terms. Baciami (TV) - My least favorite song on this album. Birra actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Giorgio Gaber’s face. Cronometrando Il Mondo is one of the best records ever. Donne credetemi pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. Dove l’ho messa is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. Due Donne is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. Ferma con gli occhi nel vuoto is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. Overall a nice softer song. I posti giusti is the song that really did it for me. If you are a Giorgio Gaber fan, you will love Il Conformista (Live). One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Il Mercato. You can find feelings on this piece of art. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Il Tavolo D’avorio. Il Tennis is nothing but pure genius. Il contrattempo which is my favorite is a truly Giorgio Gaber sounding song. Giorgio Gaber breathes new life into the music in Il coscritto (TV). Although Il deserto is very melodic it is far from sad. Il febbrosario have really caught my ear and imagination. Il muro (prosa) is the albums biggest surprise. Il sociale rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. This track is clearly meant to showcase Giorgio Gaber’s vocal abilities. Il tic (TV) has a fun tempo. This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. All of songs on Non Classificati, CD1 and have something to say letting alone Inedita al funerale. A great put together song.
