There is no doubt that Pizzicato Five has talent. This album has some very good songs like Darlin’ Of Discotheque by Mieko Hirota and La Depression by Grand Prix. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Pizzicato Five on ‘Darlin’ Of Discotheque by Mieko Hirota’. This is the best album I have heard in a long time

La Depression by Grand Prix is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. In 20th Century Girl by The Clovers the music gets its power. Let’s be Adult ‘91 12X5 Mix is one of the best records ever. I have all of Pizzicato Five’s tracks and The International Playboy & Playgirl Beats is probably the most his introspective effort.
