Self-described as Rock with lots of words, Rosenstolz comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. There is so much to love about Rosenstolz, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Rosenstolz’s album Kassengift falls to No. 2 with 532,000, a sales slide of 66%. If you love Rosenstolz as much as I do, then Rosenstolz Kassengift is the CD for you!
I find myself hearing bits of here and there throughout my waking hours.
Nice and different song. Kinder Der Nacht is astounding song though, very addictive. Amo Vitam is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. In Septembergrau you won’t find any flashy solos. It’s a great pleasure to listen to Achterbahn from the beginning to the end. Rosenstolz breathes new life into the music in Es Ist Vorbei. No Rosenstolz song has come close to capturing my attention as Engel Der Schwermut did. Opening track Du Atmest Nicht shows the best of Rosenstolz. I love the melodic melody of Total Eclipse and to this day it makes me feel good. Die Schwarze Witwe is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. Sag Doch is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. Bonus Track 1 is possibly the best song Rosenstolz has come up.
