Milk Cow Blues carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. It has been twelve years Willie Nelson’ last studio CD, “Milk Cow Blues” which won Array Grammy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Willie Nelson. I love this album so much, i’ve been crazy about Willie Nelson ever.
I’ve found myself listening to back to back and back many times.
Black Night (Featuring Dr. John) is pretty funky and mellow. Music and lyrics of Crazy (Featuring Susan Tedeschi) creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. Fool’s Paradise (Featuring Dr. John) is a strong cut, one of many. Funny How Time Slips Away (Featuring Francine Reed) - arguably the best track on Milk Cow Blues album. Nice and different song. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. Milk Cow Blues (Featuring Francine Reed) have really caught my ear and imagination. Opening track Night Life (Featuring B.B. King) shows the best of Willie Nelson. This track is just a stunning masterpiece. Rainy Day Blues (Featuring Jonny Lang) is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. Sittin’ On Top Of The World is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. Texas Flood (Featuring Kenny Wayne Shepherd) is almost impossible to review. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is The Thrill Is Gone (Featuring B.B. Knig) because the melody in the chorus is so good. This song stands out greatly from the others.
