While no new Ayumi Hamasaki album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 2000 tour in Asia. Ayu-Mi-X II Version Acoustic Orchestra isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. There is no doubt that Ayumi Hamasaki has talent. IT makes me wanna dance!

Who… as a highlight of Ayu-Mi-X II Version Acoustic Orchestra contains a ton of cool melodies. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. To Be is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. Still going through Ayu-Mi-X II Version Acoustic Orchestra and coming to appreciate End Roll more and more with every listen. Immature is simply amazing. As always, Ayumi Hamasaki’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. In End Roll (Inst.Melo Version) the music gets its power. I like to sing along with To Be (Inst.Melo Version), though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Simple and heartfelt closing track Appears (Inst.Melo Version) closes Ayu-Mi-X II Version Acoustic Orchestra on a high note. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Ayu-Mi-X II Version Acoustic Orchestra is Who… (Inst. Melo Version).
