It’s natural for Roger Waters to take a stab at ‘In the Flesh’ considering her long-professed love for U2. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Roger Waters on ‘In the Flesh’. After seeing In the Flesh, I had to have a good Roger Waters cd. If you love Roger Waters as much as I do, then Roger Waters In the Flesh Live is the CD for you!
is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside.
Music and lyrics of Happiest Days Of Our Lives creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. Another Brick in the Wall, Pt. 2 is a cool, simple song by Roger Waters at the top of his game. I listened to the opening track Mother and liked it a lot. Get Your Filthy Hands Off My Desert is one of the more up-tempo songs on In the Flesh Live. Southhampton Dock is another strong production from Roger Waters. Pigs On The Wing, Part 1 is so unique, as each one of the songs is. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. Welcome To The Machine is a strong cut, one of many. Wish You Were Here is a song to enjoy for years to come. Shine on You Crazy Diamond, Pts. 1-8 is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through In the Flesh Live. Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun is a great opener for In the Flesh Live. The opening track Breathe (In The Air) is very much like you would expect from other albums. Voice and instruments in Time complement each other. This track is clearly meant to showcase Roger Waters’s vocal abilities. Roger Waters must have run out of lyrics on the next track Pros and Cons Of Hitch Hiking Part 11 (AKA 5:06 AM- Every Strange’s Eye. I find myself hearing bits of Bravery of Being Out of Range here and there throughout my waking hours. What sets Perfect Sense, Pt. 1-2 apart is Roger Waters’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. This track is a great song that still never gets old. When I listen to Amused to Death in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. Brain Damage is really the reason why I recommend buying In the Flesh Live. Eclipse is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. Comfortably Numb have really caught my ear and imagination. You have to get essence of the Each Small Candle’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece.
