Since completing 2000’s ‘The Mystery Eyewitness, Part Two’, Glass, Philip fulfilled their contract with EMI Records and where under no obligation to release another album. fourteen years ago, Glass, Philip briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Elba Carr”. Now signed to Glass, Philip’s EMI Records, the title track from second album “The Thin Blue Line - Part 2″ leads Glass, Philip’s back-to-school campaign. The Thin Blue Line - Part 2 is preety good and all the songs have a good meaning behind them.
After few listenings I started to like more and more.
You can find feelings on this piece of art. Opening track The Mystery Eyewitness, Part Three shows the best of Glass, Philip. The Thin Blue Line is so unique, as each one of the songs is. I think Dr. Death is the best song Glass, Philip has ever done. The sound in The Electric Chair is really warm and Glass, Philip’s signature voice is still very much present. The Defense Attorneys, Part Two is one of my favorite songs by Glass, Philip. Harris’ Testimony is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. The Mystery Eyewitness, Part Four is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. No Glass, Philip song has come close to capturing my attention as The Mystery Eyewitness, Part Five did. Harris’ Crimes, Part Two is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Glass, Philip ever produced. Hell On Earth is a fine track on any terms. Harris’ Childhood is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. The Confession - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. I have all of Glass, Philip’s tracks and End Credits is probably the most his introspective effort.
