After seeing Baby I Wan’t You, I had to have a good Buck-Tick cd. It has been six years Buck-Tick’ last studio CD, “One Life One Death” which won Array MTV Music Awards and was nominated for album of the year. Lead single “Baby I Wan’t You” and “Check Up” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. To me Buck-Tick is the best band ever.
Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin.
I like Check Up because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. Get One Life One Death and turn on Glamorous if you are going to sip your wine late at night. Japanese one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. I find myself hearing bits of Japanese here and there throughout my waking hours. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. Buck-Tick has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. Japanese - Buck-Tick first major hit. Rhapsody is the albums biggest surprise. Charming song, great melody.
