‘10 Years of Strictly Rhythms Mix CD2 (1989 - 1999)’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. This is the first studio album from Louie Vega since bad diagnosis in 1999. When you buy a Louie Vega album, you know exactly what you’re getting! 10 Years of Strictly Rhythms Mix CD2 (1989 - 1999) is the best essence of Louie Vega.
This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely.
The Horn Song (The Don) stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. Just Me and You (New Vision) is one of the best records ever. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. Got Funk (The Funk Junkeez) is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. Real House Music (Michael Moog and Frank Delour) - I like this one. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in 10 Years of Strictly Rhythms Mix CD2 (1989 - 1999). This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. The Buddah Kahn Theme (Buddah Kahn) is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through 10 Years of Strictly Rhythms Mix CD2 (1989 - 1999). Don’t judge Tribal Seagulls (Kenny Dope) on the first listening. This is probably my favorite song on the album. There is exquisite mix of music in That Sound (Michael Moog). Just Me and You (New Vision; 2) is a striking and quite long song. Some of the arrangements found on 10 Years of Strictly Rhythms Mix CD2 (1989 - 1999) are surprisingly edgy. Midnight Lady (Masterbuilders w Philip Ramirez) is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo.
