This fourteen-song debut EP shows the promise that House - Various Artists has. There is no doubt that House - Various Artists has talent. Now signed to House - Various Artists’s Capitol Records, the title track from second album “Cafe Del Mar: Volumen Seis (6)” leads House - Various Artists’s back-to-school campaign. House - Various Artists is one of my favourite bands of all time.
is another favourite of mine.
House - Various Artists sings The Messenger (A New Funky Generation) in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. The song feels complete. Excellent vocals and musical performances. This is probably my favorite song on the album. Homelands (Nitin Sawhney) - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. A Distant Inivation (Rae & Christian) - My least favorite song on this album. Existence (Edit) (Bugge Wesseltoft) - another great track from the Cafe Del Mar: Volumen Seis (6) album. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. Las Kid Nappeurs Main Theme (Marc Collin) - Okay, I just talked about depth. Adios Ayer (Jose Padilla) - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. I`ll Street Blues (Moonrovk) - A catchy, upbeat tune. The Look Of Love (Dusty Springfield) rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo.
